Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 Passes CBFC Test: Popular Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s new film ‘OMG 2’ (OMG 2) was stuck for several days. The film was not being cleared by the Censor Board while the film is getting closer to its release date with each passing day. There were reports in the past that the committee had reportedly asked the makers to revise the film with around 20 cuts.
However, now the latest update that has come out has given a sigh of relief to the makers. It is being told that the film has passed the CBFC test without any cuts. The CBFC board has suggested some modifications to the makers of ‘OMG 2’.
OMG 2 passes the CBFC test
The Central Board of Film Certification has cleared Akshay Kumar starrer ‘OMG 2’ without any cuts. The film was making headlines for the past several days. After this news came to the fore, there has been a wave of happiness among the makers and fans of Akshay Kumar. It has got an A certificate and it is being told that the film is 2 hours 36 minutes long. As per Pinkvilla’s report, ‘OMG 2’ has been passed without any cuts after much discussion.
Some scenes, dialogues and characters of the film have been modified by the makers after discussions with the board members. In many reports, it was even claimed that changes are being made in the character of Akshay Kumar. It is being told that his character will be changed from Lord Shiva to a messenger.
In the film ‘OMG 2’ directed by Amit Rai, along with Akshay Kumar, many actors like Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam will be seen in important roles. The film will release on 11 August. ‘OMG 2’ will directly compete with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s ‘Gadar 2’ in theatres.
