Adam Levine has denied cheating on wife Behati Prinsloo with Instagram model Sumner Stroh.

“I used poor judgment in speaking in ANY kind of flirtatious manner with anyone other than my wife,” the Maroon 5 frontman admitted. “However, I did not have an affair.”

After Adam spoke out on social media, other celebrities appeared to weigh in on the situation and offer their own opinions.

“When a man publicly apologizes for cheating, I despise the we will get through it together part,” Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, whose marriage to Justin Hartley ended in 2019, wrote on Twitter. “Don’t speak on her behalf. You’ve accomplished enough.”

Sara Foster took to TikTok to criticize Adam and Sumner for their roles in the drama. “Cheating is so disgusting,” she exclaimed. “This woman who chose to create a viral TikTok video…putting it out there for all to see for a pregnant woman to see when she could have simply messaged her privately… We are not sorry for you. You were aware that this man was married, and you took part.”

Meanwhile, Emily Ratajkowkski, who recently divorced husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, believes Sumner is also a victim.

“I don’t understand why we continue to blame women for men’s mistakes,” she said in response to Sara’s TikTok. “Also, if you’re the one in a relationship, you’re the one who is obligated to be loyal, so blaming the entire other woman is bad, and it’s literally designed to keep women apart.”

Sumner, 23, made allegations about her affair with Adam, 43, on September 19. While the influencer stated that she had never intended to share her story, she decided to do so after “recklessly” sending screenshots to friends she believed she could trust. One of them, according to Sumner, tried to sell her story to a tabloid.

“I was basically having an affair with a man who was married to a Victoria’s Secret model,” she explained. “I was young, naive, and, quite frankly, exploited at the time. I wasn’t as involved in the scene as I am now, so I was definitely susceptible to manipulation.”

“In retrospect, I wish I had questioned things more, that I hadn’t been so naive, but being naive is no excuse for what I did and the role I played in this,” she added. “Again, I was not seeking sympathy, and I am fully aware that I am not the victim in this situation. I’m not the one who’s really hurting here; it’s Behati and her children, and I’m truly sorry.”

Behati, who has two daughters with Adam, Dusty Rose, 5, and Gio Grace, 4, announced her third pregnancy on September 15. E! News reached out to the supermodel’s team for comment but did not receive a response.
